About Us

With an MSc. in petroluem geology, Bill Verkaik has 16 years of experience working in software development within the oil industy. He has set-up and managed UK branch offices of several international geotechnical software companies and has proven expertise in Business Development having been responsible for annual revenue budgets up to $18 million. Bill has extensive experience in setting up office locations and putting technical and sales teams together within the EAME marketplace.

When setting up his first company, Junior Geo Ltd (www.juniorgeo.co.uk) in 2004, Bill decided to make the switch from Windows to Apple Mac. To cope with all of his new customers Bill needed to find a suitable application for the Mac.

"Having used Outlook, ACT!, Maximiser and quite a few other CRM systems for Windows, we needed a solution on the Mac to cope with our customers. More importantly we needed some way of predicting our sales revenues. We found all this and more with Daylite".
